Weekly Program
Coaches organise the program so that all LAQ events specific to the age group are covered over a given period- also specific special events like Regional Relays are considered in the programming. All events are conducted on the Taabinga State School oval, located in Rae Street Kingaroy.
The warm up will generally be carried out as a whole group. It will usually comprise of a short game or other dynamic activities to increase the athletes core temperature and large motor muscles. The athletes with then split up into their age groups and move to their first rotation of events with their respective coaches.
Each event session will consist of skills, drills and technique building games followed by an opportunity to record a timed run or measured throw or jump. These are recorded on recording sheets and later entered on Results HQ where they can be viewed at your leisure. The afternoon’s program will be displayed on the notice board beside the Club’s office.

ALL ATHLETES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR SHOES AT ALL TIMES. ALL ATHLETES SHOULD ALSO BRING A HAT AND WATER BOTTLE TO EVERY SESSION.
